If there’s a hydrant near your home or business, we ask that you take a few minutes to clear snow and ice from around it and make sure it’s visible from the street. This small act makes a big difference during emergencies—and it’s a great way neighbors help protect neighbors. Please know that fire protection throughout town remains strong, even during a snowy winter like this one. Clearing hydrants simply helps our crews do their jobs faster and more safely when seconds matter.
