Kennel Attendant (Per Diem)
Working under the general supervision of the Animal Control Officer, the Kennel Attendant responsibilities include, but not limited to handling, feeding, medicating and watering impounded animals. This position also involves cleaning and disinfecting dog kennels and cat cages; washing laundry and dishes; organizing supplies; as well as maintaining the cleanliness of the food prep and storage areas of the animal shelter.

School Crossing Guard (Temporary, 3-6 months)
Responsible for stopping traffic so that children can cross safely to their school grounds. Scheduled hours are Monday to Friday, 30 mins each morning and afternoon (totaling 5 hours per week). Work schedule only available during school sessions. Reports to the Police Department and will be require to wear reflective gear. This is a temporary assignment and may last only a few months or may continue for up to six months, depending on the needs of the department.
