Public Safety Telecommunicator (911 Dispatcher)
Receives and triages emergency and non-emergency calls; dispatches appropriate police, fire, and EMS units; provides real-time radio updates; and documents actions in CAD and related systems in a fast-paced 24/7 Emergency Communications Center while exercising sound judgment, confidentiality, and policy compliance.
Schedule: Pitman 12-hour schedule (2-2-3 pattern): 48 hours one week, 36 hours the next; every other weekend is a 3-day weekend off.
Shifts: 7 AM - 7 PM OR 7 PM - 7 AM
Salary Range: Starting rate: $31.71 – $33.43/hour, plus $1.25/hour overnight shift differential if applicable

School Crossing Guard (Temporary, 3-6 months)
Responsible for stopping traffic so that children can cross safely to their school grounds. Scheduled hours are Monday to Friday, 30 mins each morning and afternoon (totaling 5 hours per week). Work schedule only available during school sessions. Reports to the Police Department and will be require to wear reflective gear. This is a temporary assignment and may last only a few months or may continue for up to six months, depending on the needs of the department.
